The government of Thailand has announced the date of the 2021 Royal Ploughing Ceremony annual non-working public holiday.

As per the aforementioned announcement, the 2020 Royal Ploughing Ceremony non-working public holiday will be observed on Monday, May 11, 2021, the same date as in 2020.

Until 2010, the government of Thailand used to declare the date of the Royal Ploughing Ceremony public holiday a few weeks only before the actual event. But, for the past decade (, 2016-08-14, 2015-11-03, 2014-12-08, 2013-12-26, 2012-11-30 and 2011-12-08), the Royal Ploughing Ceremony public holiday was announced well in advance, with one exception, in 2019 (2019-03-01), perhaps because of the preceding year's mishap (2017-11-18).
