Transdniestria's Ministry of Social Protection and Labor has announced that Thursday, December 31, 2020, had been declared a one-off public holiday in Transdniestria.

Today's declaration of Thursday, December 31, 2020, as a public holiday in the Transdniestrian Moldovan Republic (Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika) thus amends the list of public holidays for the calendar year 2021, as released in accordance with article 112 of the Labor Code of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, last spring (2020-05-14).

As was done often (2020-04-20, 2019-12-25, 2019-05-29, 2018-06-15, 2017-12-20, 2017-05-01, 2016-07-08, 2015-09-20 and 2012-12-27), but not always (2014-12-15 and 2013-12-30), the aforementioned additional public holiday will be compensated by the declaration of Saturday, March 13, 2021, as a regular working day.
