UAE 2020 Eid Al Adha Public Holidays

The UAE Government has announced that the Eid Al Adha public holidays for all public sector employees will run from the 9th until the 12th day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah 1441 H ("Those working in federal entities will get four days off starting Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2. Work will resume on Monday, August 3.").

The aforementioned announcement is in line with last year's announcements (2019-09-08 and 2019-03-05), in which the UAE government laid out its annual list of expected non-working public holidays in the UAE for the calendar years 2019 and 2020, for both the private and public sectors, and superseding the traditional annual ad hoc announcements of religious public holidays in the UAE (2006-04-04, 2018-08-14, 2018-06-12, 2018-04-11, ...).
