Acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, the President of Vanuatu, Obed Moses Tallis, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Public Holidays Act (CAP 114), has declared Thursday, September 17, 2020, as a one-off public holiday in Vanuatu, on account of the Luganville Municipality election scheduled for that day.

The aforementioned gazette notification thus further amends (2020-07-13 and 2020-05-18) the initial list of 2020 public holidays in Vanuatu (2020-02-09).
