The Government of India's state of Andhra Pradesh has authorized district collectors to declare local public holiday on February 9, 13, 17 and 21, 2021, on account of the panchayat elections being held on those days, and has instructed district collectors to declare these poll days as paid public holidays.
The aforementioned declaration of local panchayat electoral public holidays on February 9, 13, 17 and 21, 2021, thus amends the list of 2021 government holidays and public holidays in the state of Andhra Pradesh, as published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette ("Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 For The Year 2021, G.O.Rt.No.1964, General Administration (Poll.B), 15th December, 2020."), late last year (2020-12-15).
As mentioned at the time of that annual announcement, later amendments are always possible (2018-03-23 and 2017-11-30), though none had occurred during the calendar years 2019 (2018-11-15) and 2020 (2019-12-08).
