Bangladesh's Public Administration Ministry has announced that the upcoming Shab-e-Barat (night of fortune and forgiveness) public holiday had been moved to March 30, due to the National Moon Sighting Committee deciding to observe the Shab-e-Barat on the night of March 29, as the Moon of Shaban had not been sighted on March 14, 2021.
Recall that the date of the upcoming Shab-e-Barat public holiday was March 29, 2021, according to the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for the calendar year 2021 (2020-11-05 and 2020-11-02).
