The Bolivian Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Welfare has issued a communiqué which confirms that the upcoming Año Nuevo Andino Amazónico annual non-working public holiday of Bolivia would be observed on Monday, June 21, 2021, in all sectors of the Bolivian economy to mark the Andean Amazonian Chaco New Year 5529.

Last year (2020-06-19), Bolivia's Minister of Labour had announced that the then upcoming Año Nuevo Aimara annual non-working public holiday of Bolivia would be observed on Sunday and Monday, June 21 and 22, 2020, in all sectors of the Bolivian economy.

The Aymara New Year (Día del Año Nuevo Andino Amazónico), became a non-working public holiday in Bolivia, more than a decade ago (2009-06-18 and 2009-06-17).
