The Government of India's state of Chhattisgarh has declared Friday, August 20, 2021, as a public holiday on account of the upcoming Muharram, instead of the previously-announced date of Thursday, August 19, 2021, as had been listed in last autumn's Government Order No. F-1-1/2020/1/5.

The aforementioned move of the upcoming Muharram public holiday in Chhattisgarh to Friday, August 20, 2021, thus amends the list of 2021 public holidays in India's state of Chhattisgarh as contained in the Government Order No. F-1-1/2020/1/5 Notification issued by the General Administration department of Chhattisgarh ("For Year 2021 following are General and Optional holidays for C.G. Govt. offices and establishments.").
