The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has announced that the upcoming, January 25, annual Revolution and Police Day bank holiday of Egypt would be observed on Thursday, January 28, 2021, instead of the annual set date of January 26 ("the closure comes in accordance with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly’s decision to declare Thursday, January 28 the official holiday, instead of Monday, January 25").
The aforementioned declaration of Thursday, January 28, 2021, as the date of the 2021 Revolution and Police Day bank holiday, is in line with recent announcement by Egypt’s Cabinet, that Thursday, January 28, 2021, had been declared a public holiday in Egypt on account of the annual, January 25, January Revolution and National Police Day for both the public and private sector employees of Egypt (2021-01-20).
The statement by the Central Bank of Egypt specifies that "All regular operations will resume on Sunday, January 31".
