Egyptian Coptic Christmas Public Holiday January 7

Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, has announced that Thursday, January 7, 2021, had been declared a public sector holiday "for the Coptic Orthodox celebration of Christmas ... for public employees includes employees at ministries, governmental agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies".

The Egyptian Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saafan, similarly announced that private sector workers would also benefit from a public holiday, on Thursday, January 7, 2021, on account of Coptic Christmas, as in preceding years (2019-12-30 and 2019-01-04).
