Ghana Declares Public Holidays On January 3

Ghana's Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has declared Monday, January 3, 2022, as a day in lieu public holiday due to New Year's Day falling on a Saturday in 2022.

The declaration of Monday, January 3, 2022, as a public holiday is in line with Section 2 of the Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act (Act 601), as in past years (2016-12-22).
