Greece's Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Kostis Hatzidakis, has announced the decision to move the upcoming May 1st, Labour Day public holiday of Greece, to Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
The aforementioned announcement that this year's annual May 1st Greek non-working public holiday would be moved to Tuesday, May 4, 2021, thus amends the list of official Greek bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Greece for the calendar year 2021, as announced last summer (2020-06-28).
Five years ago the Bank of Greece and the Greek Government had similarly moved the annual May 1st bank holiday and Greek non-working public holiday to Tuesday, May 3, 2016 (2016-03-29).
Three years before that, the May 1st Greek public holiday had been moved to Tuesday, May 7, 2013 (2013-04-24 and 2013-04-23).
