The Government of India's state of Kerala has issued the Government vide Order no EN(2) 5224/2021, dated Thiruvananthapuram, 30.03.2021, which declares Tuesday, April 6, 2021, as a one-off public holiday in Kerala on account of the upcoming general election to the Kerala Legislative Assembly 2021 and Bye-Election in Malappuram Parliamentary Constituency.
The aforementioned notification of Kerala public holidays on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, thus amends the list of Kerala government holidays for the calendar year 2021, as included in the Government of Kerala Government Orders G.O. (P) No.15/2020/GAD. ("Public Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act in Kerala for the Calendar year 2021") and G.O. (P) No.16/2020/GAD. ("Public Holidays to the Public Offices under the Government of Kerala during the Calendar year 2021"), as released last autumn (2020-11-01).
