The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has confirmed the date of July 20, 2021, as that of the upcoming Kurman Ait (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday, following the earlier announcement by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (Демек 19-июль арапа, 20-июль айт болот).

The aforementioned announcement that Tuesday, July 20, 2021, would be the date of the upcoming annual non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan for the 2021 Kurman Ait is in line with the calendar of annual non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan for the calendar year 2021, announced late last year (2020-12-04).

As was the case in 2019 (2019-08-02), the Kyrgyz Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan re-iterated that there would be no bridge public holiday, on Monday, July 19, 2021, to link the 2021 Kurman Ait public holiday with the preceding weekend ("This year the days will not be rescheduled. Monday 19 July remains a business day. Only the day of Kurman ayta - July 20, will be a day off").
