The President of the Republic of Liberia, George Manneh Weah, has issued a Proclamation declaring Wednesday, March 10, 2021, as a public holiday in Liberia to mark Decoration Day, and "to be observed as a National Holiday throughout the Republic".
The annual Decoration Day Liberian public holiday was created by an Act of the Liberian Legislature, on October 24, 1916 declaring the Second Wednesday in March of each year as "Decoration Day" to be observed as a National Holiday.
