Nepal Province 2 Declares September 29 Jitiya Public Holiday

The Government of the Province 2 of Nepal, has announced that it had declared Wednesday, September 29, 2021, as a public holiday for "for all women in the province", on the occasion of the Jitiya festival.

Such regional public holidays (2021-07-15, 2021-06-28, 2021-06-26, 2021-04-23, 2021-04-20, 2021-01-17 and 2020-11-19) were not included in last spring's (2021-04-02) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2078 (April 2021-April 2022).
