The Government of Niue has released its annual list of the official non-working public holidays in Niue for the calendar year 2021.

The aforementioned announced list of 2021 official non-working public holidays in Niue carries-on (2020-01-30, 2019-01-22, 2018-01-13, 2017-01-17, 2016-01-05, 2015-01-09, 2014-01-14, 2013-01-17 and 2012-02-18) with the change of rule for the determination of the date of the Peniamina Gospel Day public holiday effected at the end of 2010.

In 2021, ANZAC Day falls on a week-end again, and though the Public Service Manual of instructions states that "ANZAC will be commemorated on the day it falls", subscribers to our news feed will recall that the Niue Cabinet declared Monday, April 27, 2020, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Niue, to compensate the fact that ANZAC Day falls on a week-end in 2020 (2020-04-22) after such a declaration having initially been ruled-it out (2020-04-13).
