The president of Panama, Laurentino Cortizo, has signed the Executive Decree No. 259, published in the Official Gazette earlier today, which declares Thursday, November 4, 2021, as a nationwide public sector holiday ("se declara feriado el próximo 4 de noviembre y se ordena el cierre en todo el territorio nacional de las oficinas públicas nacionales y municipales, con motivo del Día de los Símbolos de la Nación").

In the same gazette, appears the Executive Decree No. 258 which orders the closing of offices on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 13:00 ("ordena el cierre de oficinas públicas nacionales y municipales, en todo el territorio nacional, a partir de las 1:00 p.m. del día 2 de noviembre, por motivo del Día de los Difuntos").

The 2 aforementioned executive decrees thus amend the list of 2021 bank holidays and public holidays in Panama, as announced, at the beginning of this year (2021-01-05).
