The secretariat of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Golikova, has announced that the Russian Trilateral Commission (RTK) on the regulation of social and labor relations had approved the previously-announced draft on the list of 2022 public holidays in Russia ("В РТК одобрили проект постановления Правительства О переносе выходных дней в 2022 году").
Recall that, earlier this month (2021-06-04), the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation has released its annual "Government Resolution On The Transfer Of Public Holidays in 2022", which, as usual, proposes, for online comments by the population, a draft list of official public holidays and bridge holidays in Russia for the upcoming calendar year 2022.
However, as was the case for the past 7 years, some of the day in lieu public holidays that would have been mandated by the amendments to Article 112 of Russia's Labour Code (2004-12-30), have been moved to dates that would in previous years have been bridge public holidays to be compensated by a working Saturday, a practice which has not been very productive.
