The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced that the Saudi public holidays for the upcoming Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), for private sector employees, would run for 4 days ("from Monday, July 19, after the end of the working day on Sunday and will last for four days").
For their part, public sector employees will enjoy an 11-day period of public holidays for the upcoming Eid al-Adha, "the start of the holiday for the government sector will be at the end of the working day on Wednesday, 14th July 2021, till the end of Sunday, 25th July 2021".
To remove any ambiguity as to the end of these public holidays, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development added that "the work will resume for public sector from Monday, 26th July 2021".
The aforementioned announcement of the upcoming Eid al-Adha public holidays, mirror the announcements, earlier this year, for the Eid al Fitr (End of Ramadan) for the private and public sectors (2021-05-05) of Saudi Arabia, as well as last year's announcement of the Saudi 2020 Eid al-Adha public holidays (2020-07-19).
