The Serbian government has released the annual list of official non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Serbia for the calendar year 2022 (Календар државних празника 2022).

The aforementioned announcement of the 2022 public holidays and bank holidays in Serbia is in line with the amended "Law on State Holidays" of Serbia of 10 years ago (2011-12-05), as in past years (2021-02-09, 2019-11-29, 2018-11-25, 2017-10-28, 2016-10-21, 2015-11-28, 2015-01-12, 2013-12-17).

The 2011 "Law on State Holidays" also lists holidays which are working days (У Републици Србији се празнује и обележава радно), such as Saint Sava’s Day, National Holocaust, WWII Genocide and other Fascist Crimes Victims Remembrance Day, and Saint Vitus’ Day.

The declaration of the Julian calendar (Orthodox) New Year on Monday, January 14, 2013, as an official non-working public holiday in Serbia (2013-01-11), was a one-off event (2015-01-12 and 2013-12-17).
