Following the announcement that Singapore's National Day Parade would be postponed from August 9 to August 21, 2021, Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM) released an amended official list of non-working Singapore public holidays and bank holidays in the calendar year 2021.

Singapore's Ministry of Manpower usually releases the official list of non-working Singapore public holidays and bank holidays in Singapore for the following calendar year, in early April (2021-04-06, 2019-04-08, 2018-04-05 and 2017-04-05).

But, exceptionally, the initial list of 2021 Singapore public holidays was announced a month later than usual (2020-06-24).

The aforementioned revised list of 2021 Singapore public holidays now includes the additional mention that "Saturday, 21 August 2021 is not a public holiday".
