St. Kitts and Nevis 2021 Public Holidays Announced

The Office of the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis has announced its annual list of official non-working public holidays in St. Kitts and Nevis for the calendar year 2021 ("Statutory Holidays/National Observations For The Year 2021 Federation Of St. Kitts And Nevis").

The aforementioned list of official non-working public holidays in St. Kitts and Nevis for the calendar year 2021, lists the 2 August public holidays under the names Emancipation Day and Culturama - Last Lap, as opposed to the past 9 years, when the August public holidays were renamed from Emancipation Day to August Monday / Culturama and from Last Lap to August Tuesday / Culturama (2020-01-06, 2019-01-14, 2018-01-05, 2017-01-23, 2016-01-25, 2015-02-07, 2014-01-21, 2013-01-04 and 2011-12-21).

The list of 2021 public holidays in St. Kitts and Nevis includes 2 footnotes; "Please note that independence day is normally celebrated on the 19th September, but it will fall on Sunday, so therefore the holiday will be celebrated on Monday, 20th September." and "Please note that boxing day is normally celebrated on the 26th December, but it will fall on Sunday, so therefore the holiday will be celebrated on Monday, 27th December.".
