The government of Tunisia has announced that the upcoming Aïd El-Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays throughout Tunisia would be observed from May 12-14, 2021 ("à l’occasion de l’Aïd el-Fitr, les agents de l’Etat, des collectivités locales et des entreprises publiques bénéficient de trois jours de congé et ce, les mercredi, jeudi et vendredi, 12, 13 et 14 mai 2021").

Once again (2020-05-21, 2019-05-29, 2018-06-10, 2017-06-22, 2016-07-01, 2015-07-14 and 2014-07-22), these dates are in line with the government-released (2020-12-28) list of official public holidays in Tunisia for the calendar year 2021, as well as the "Arrêté N°317 du 26 mars 2011", following the various changes announced since the beginning of the Arab revolutions (2011-04-04, 2011-03-18, and 2011-08-23).

The 3 aforementioned days are paid public holidays for the government sector, but the private sector does not get paid for May 12, the day before the 1st of Shawwal.
