The government of Tunisia, following a communique by the Greaft Mufti of the Republic, Othmane Battikh, has announced that the upcoming Aïd El-Idha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual non-working public holidays throughout Tunisia would be observed on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 20-21, 2021.

The statement by the Greaft Mufti of the Republic states that "demain sera le premier jour du mois Dhou al-hijja" and that the "Aïd Al Adha sera le mardi 20 juillet courant".

The aforementioned announcement of Tuesday and Wednesday, July 20-21, 2021, as the dates of the 2021 Aïd El-Idha public holidays throughout Tunisia, is in line with the dates set out in last year's (2020-12-28) announcement by the government of Tunisia of its official list of the annual non-working public holidays in Tunisia for the calendar year 2021.
