The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Communication, Technology, and National Guidance, of the Government of Uganda, Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwire, has instructed the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) to relay the announcement that the upcoming Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holiday in Uganda would be observed on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
As per the aforementioned announcement, "The Honorable Minister of Public Service informs the general public that Thursday 13th May 2021 is Eid-Al-Fitr and will be observed as a public holiday throughout Uganda".
