Uttarakhand Declares Harbans Kapoor Public Holiday December 13

The Government of India's state of Uttarakhand, on the instruction of its Chief Minister, has declared a one-off non-working public holiday in the Dehradun district on Monday, December 13, 2021, following the death of the senior BJP leader and eight-time MLA Harbans Kapoor.

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, December 13, 2021, as a public holiday in the the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, thus further amends (2021-11-08) the notification of the list of public holidays in Uttarakhand for the calendar year 2021, as contained in the vide Notification No. 794/xxxi(15)G-74/2016-20, released late last year (2020-12-23).
