The Consejero de Empresa y Trabajo of Spain's autonomous region of Catalunya, Roger Torrent i Ramió, has signed the gazetted entry containing the previously-announced annual list of the 2023 Catalonia non-working public holidays, in the DOGC de 28 de abril de 2022.
The aforementioned list of 2023 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña was announced late last month (2022-03-30), and has now been gazetted as the "Orden EMT/81/2022, de 21 de abril, de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cataluña, por la que se establece el calendario oficial de fiestas laborales en Cataluña para el año 2023".
Recall that, for the calendar year 2023, the Autonomous Region of Cataluña declared regional public holidays on Easter Monday, San Juan on June 24, and Sant Esteve on December 26, as well as on September 11 for the Diada Nacional de Cataluña (2022-03-30).
As usual, Cataluña is the only Spanish region that does not observe Maundy Thursday as a public holiday (2020-06-19).
