Extremadura 2023 Public Holidays Draft

The Ministry of Education and Employment of Spain's Autonomous Region of Extremadura has issued a draft decree for its annual list of regional public holidays for the calendar year 2023 (Calendario Laboral 2023).

In 2023, as per the aforementioned draft decree, the Autonomous Region of Extremadura would declare a regional public holidays on Monday, March 20, in compensation for January 1st falling on a Sunday in 2023.

In addition, Friday, September 8, 2023, is proposed as a regional public holiday to mark the Extremadura Community Day, as is often the case.

An official gazette notification will follow, as was done in the past (2021-08-04, 2020-09-01, 2019-06-03, 2018-08-31, 2017-09-10, 2017-09-04, 2016-08-04, 2015-08-07, 2014-06-26, 2013-08-11).
