The Citizens Information Board has published its annual list of bank holidays and non-working public holidays in the Republic of Ireland for the calendar year 2023.

The aforementioned list of 2023 bank and public holidays, in the Republic of Ireland, includes non-working public holidays as well as banks-only non-working days, and pointedly specifies that "Good Friday is not a public holiday. While some schools and businesses close on that day, you have no automatic entitlement to time off work on that day", as usual (2021-09-17, 2019-07-01, 2018-07-02, 2017-07-03, 2016-07-04, 2015-07-07, 2014-07-03, 2011-11-18 and 2013-01-14).

This list of 2023 bank and public holidays in Ireland is published along with an updated version of the 2022 Irish bank holidays and public holidays.

However, the 2022-2023 list does not include any information about a one-off bridge public holiday near St Patrick's Day and the possible new annual public holiday for St Brigid's Day, beginning in 2023 (2021-11-25, 2021-10-31, 2021-10-05, 2021-09-25, 2021-05-05, 2021-01-22, 2020-10-07, 2020-10-05, 2020-05-07).
