Kyrgyzstan Clarifies February 2022 Public Holidays

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan has confirmed the terms of the decree of last autumn, postponing working days for efficiency of the working schedule, whereby Wednesday, February 23, 2022, will be a non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan.

The aforementioned announcement goes on to state that "Saturday, February 26, will be a working day, since January 5 was declared a holiday".

Late last year, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan approved the declaration of 4 bridge public holidays in January 2022 to create a period of continuous public holidays in Kyrgyzstan from January 1 to January 9, 2022 (2021-12-25 and 2021-11-22).
