The Samoan Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour, in a public notice signed by the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Fepuleai Roger Toleafoa, has released the "Public Notice: Public Holiday To Celebrate 60th Year Of Independence For The Government Of Samoa 2022".
As per the aforementioned public notice, "In accordance with Section 2 of the Public Holidays Act 2008, the public is hereby advised that Wednesday, 1st June 2022 will be treated as a Public Holiday to commemorate Samoa's 60th Independence".
The "Public Notice: Public Holiday To Celebrate 60th Year Of Independence For The Government Of Samoa 2022" is in line with the latest updated list of public holidays in Samoa for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023, as most recently re-released (2021-01-04).
