Tripura Declares Maha Buisu Public Holiday On April 14

The Government of India's State of Tripura has declared Thursday, April 14, 2022, as a public holiday to mark the Maha Buisu Festival, which marks the New Year of the Tripuri community.

The aforementioned public holiday, as announced in the Government Notification No.F.17(1)-GA (SA)/2020/1823, "has been declared for all the government offices, revenue, executive magistrate courts and educational institutions under the Government of Tripura".

The initial list of 2022 public holidays in India's State of Tripura was contained in the Government Notification No.F.17(1)-GA(SA)/2021/9127, released late last year (2021-12-02).
