The State Labor Service of Ukraine has announced that May 2 and May 9, 2022, would be regular working days, as per the recently enacted Law of Ukraine "On the Organization of Labor Relations in Martial Law" № 2136-IX.

Earlier this month, the State Labor Service of Ukraine had similarly confirmed that the date of the upcoming Orthodox Easter Monday, on April 25, 2022, would be a regular working day, as per the Law № 2136-IX, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's Parliament) a couple of weeks after the beginning of the 2022 Russian invasion of the Ukraine (2022-03-15).

Law № 2136-IX, essentially cancels public holidays in the Ukraine for the duration of martial law, thus amending the previously-released list of 2022 public holidays in the Ukraine (2021-08-26, 2021-08-23 and 2021-07-16).
