Venezuelan Carnival Bank Holidays February 28 and March 1st

The Venezuelan regulatory body for the banking sector, Sudeban (Superintendencia de Instituciones del Sector Bancario) has announced that Monday and Tuesday, February 28 and March 1st, 2022, would be bank holidays in Venezuela, on account of the upcoming Carnival.

The aforementioned bank holidays announced for Monday and Tuesday, February 28 and March 1st, 2022, are in line with the official list of the dates for the 2022 public holidays and banking holidays in Venezuela as announced last autumn by the Sudeban (2021-10-18), in conformity with the "Ley de Reforma Parcial de la Ley de Instituciones del Sector Bancario", as usual (2021-01-07, 2020-01-04, 2017-01-01, 2016-01-08 and 2015-01-03).
