Below is a list of the different methods of deleting an object as part of diary generation.
Non-Text Objects
outside days in a monthly grid
If you need to delete non-text objects, such as lines or picture boxes, then group them with a textbox which uses the group delete version of the above methods.
Monthly Grids
If the current GridTemplate is a monthly grid, or a weekly grid inside an insert, then you can use the hide outside days GridOption to specify that days which do not belong to the current month should be deleted or group deleted.
Other Solutions
Other more drastic solutions, but which may be appropriate in certain cases, are deleting all the objects on a layer, deleting a page, and applying another master page.
