Since the spring of 2018, the results shown below can be achieved, much more simply and easily, using the Minicalendar Text Framing and Shading options and QuarkXPress 2017-2023 or InDesign. The information below should only be used to maintain existing, pre-2018 diaries, or if you are not yet using QuarkXPress 2017-2023 or InDesign.

The Alt1 and Alt2 Alternate Font Formats options allow you to specify specific Font attributes to be used by any Minicalendar Modifier that uses Alternate Font Formatting, such as the Show only on Current Day and the Show only on Holidays modifiers.

These modifiers allow you to highlight some individual dates of a MiniCalendar with a background shade or frame as shown in the example on the right.
