To export a script to XML, use the Export to XML menu item of the scripts menu.

 

➢This menu option will only be enabled if a script is open in the script editor.

 

The process, which is almost instantaneous, will then create an XML file named scriptXXX.xml, where XXX corresponds to the ID of the current script, in the folder C:\Qpp\XML\.

 

These XML files can then be manipulated and then re-imported, either as a new script, or a modified version of the current script.

 

Additionally, the XML format of Q++Studio scripts is fully documented and most AI assistants understand it and are able to offer precise advice based on the XML version of a script.
