Scanned Template is missing Textboxes

Scroll Prev Up Next More

The last time that the current GridTemplate was scanned, a certain number of textboxes were counted. But, now, as the template is re-loaded from the database, the number of textboxes is not the same.

This is probably due a network problem during the most recent scan, and the scanned template is probably incomplete, if not corrupted.

The scanned template is probably garbage and you will not be able to preview or generate a diary until this problem is fixed

Solution:

Re-Scan Current GridTemplate: this usually solves the problem.

Purge QuarkXPress Preferences: use this option to automatically purge the QuarkXPress preferences. It solves QuarkXPress problems in 95% of cases and, even when it is not the solution, it does no harm.

Purge InDesign Preferences: use this option to automatically purge the InDesign preferences. It solves InDesign problems in 95% of cases and, even when it is not the solution, it does no harm.

Check firewall and anti-virus: Check that your firewall and anti-virus settings are as recommended; often scanning errors are due to overly aggressive firewalls and anti-viruses.

If all fails, contact technical support.
