North Korea Renames Public Holiday

North Korean authorities have announced that starting immediately, the April 15 public holiday commemorating the birthday of former leader Kim Il-sung would be renamed Taeyang Day (Day of the Sun).

Kim Il-sung led North Korea from the end of WW2 until his death in 1994.
