The NSW parliament has passed laws aiming at clarifying both labour and opening hours issues related to the APEC, one-off, public holiday of September 7, 2007.
In 2004, Chile declared a municipal holiday on Friday, November 19, 2004, in Chile's capital, Santiago, to coincide with that year's upcoming APEC Summit (28-Oct-2004).
