Earlier this week, Jordan's Prime Minister, Marouf Bakhit, identified official holidays (religious and national) during which public institutions and ministries will remain closed, for the period from 2007-2011.
Of note is the moving of the May 1 Labour Day public holiday, when it falls mid-week, to always ensure a 3-day week-end.
This published list of 2007-2011 public holidays also confirms the cancellation of 2 Royal birthdays' public holidays, announced last month (19-Jan-2007).
