Bahamas' PLP opposition party has once again called on the FNM governing party to gazette the change in name of the October Discovery Day public holiday to National Heroes Day.
Recall that, before the PLP left office in 2007, it passed a bill creating the second Monday in October as National Heroes Day (30-Mar-2007), but that it did not have time to gazette before leaving office (28-Sep-2007).
