Bahrain 2010 New Year Public Holidays Announced

Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa, has issued a circular concerning non-working public holidays associated with the upcoming Gregorian New Year.

As per the aforementioned circular, Bahrain's government ministries, bodies and establishments will be closed on Friday, January 1, 2010 to mark the Western new year and, as Friday is normally a day off (02-Aug-2006), another, day in lieu, non-working public holiday was declared for Sunday, January 3, 2010.
