The Deputy Governor’s Office of the British Virgin Islands has announced that Monday, December 28, 2009, would be a public holiday to be observed as Boxing Day in lieu of Saturday, December 26.
This last-minute clarification was also deemed necessary by the BVI Government, despite the timely announcement of official BVI public holidays for the coming year (05-Mar-2009).
