The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will be open for trading on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, despite the State bank and public holiday of Parsi New Year (Shahenshahi).
There will, however, be no clearing and settlement activities and the FOREX market will be closed on that date in Mumbai and Maharshtra State as per custom.
