Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced that pursuant to the recent Cabinet Decision, the Eid Al-Adha public holidays would begin with Arafat Day, on Thursday, November 26, 2009.
The public sector will therefore be on public holidays from Thursday, November 26, until Monday, November 30, 2009, inclusively, while the private sector will return to work on Sunday, November 29, 2009.
Note that a bill is currently being considered by the Kuwaiti Parliament which would increase the number of private sector public holidays, to match those of the public sector (12-Nov-2009).
