The Presidency of Lebanon's Council of Ministers has confirmed that the date of the upcoming "Nouvel An islamique" public holiday would be Friday, December 18, 2009.
Recall that at the end of 2005 (06-Oct-2005), the new public holidays law reduced the duration of most public holidays to one day for public administrations, institutions and municipalities, except for the 2 Eids (End of Ramadan, and Feast of Sacrifice).
