The Monetary Authority Of Macao (AMCM) announced the list of bank holidays specific to the banking and financial sectors of Macau.
Of note, the AMCM announcement includes a day in lieu on April 6, 2010, the day after the Ching Ming Festival, to compensate the rare fact that, in 2010, the Ching Ming Festival falls on the same date as Easter Monday.
This extra holiday is not included in the official list of Macau public holidays published this past summer (20-Jul-2009), but it does parallels the decision taken by the Hong Kong SAR, earlier this year (25-Apr-2009) and for 1999 (13-May-1998).
