Malawi's State President, Ngwazi Dr Bingu wa Mutharika, in his capacity as Minister responsible for the Civil Service, has granted an additional 3-day period of public holidays, from Tuesday, December 29, to Thursday, December 31, 2009.
Combined with the annual pulic holidays of December 25, December 28, and January 1st, this means that Malawi's public service will get 10 consecutive days of public holidays.
